A Big Welcome

to both our continuing and newly enrolled children.

Back to School

This can be stressful for everybody. It is helpful to organize school items with your child to help motivate and encourage him or her. It is also helpful to remind your child that the teachers and their friends are eager to see them back at school.

Friendly Reminders

Fun and academics begin at 9 am. Please drop your child off at school before that time.

Be sure to bring clean sheets and a blanket every Monday for daily nap time.

Please be sure to sign your child in and out every day. Morning pick-up time is 12:30 pm; the school closes at 6 pm. Late pickup fees apply.

Please be sure to pay tuition fees on or before the 5th of each month to avoid late fees.

A Special Thank You

FHS children and staff enjoyed the summer activities. Thank you to all the parents for supporting our in-house programs and fieldtrips.

Thanks to all the parents who helped clean and repaint the classrooms on FHS Beautification Day. And a special thank you to Victoria Knapp (Hendrick’s mom) for coordinating this event. The school looks beautiful!

Thanks to Alison DeVriendt (Madison’s mom) for all her hard work as last year’s FHS Parents’ Club President and for taking on the post for this coming year.

Thanks to Anise Stevens (Cyan’s mom) and Kristen Blazek (Ethan’s mom) for all their hard work co-chairing the FHS Newsletter.

Shop for a Cause

Help the FHS raise funds to purchase new sun shades for the outside play area by participating in Macy’s Shop for a Cause.

Make sure you receive five Macy’s Shop For a Cause coupons to sell at $5 each and then return the monies or unsold coupons by Monday, October 4th, to the SFAC box by the front door of the school. (Checks to be made to Firehouse Preschool). If you need more coupons, just ask any staff member. 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to the Firehouse School.

Keeping It Green

Starting in October, the FHS Newsletter will be sent electronically. Hardcopies will be available upon request. Thank you for helping us keep a greener world.
